A solicitor from one of London’s leading independent law firms Mackrell Turner Garrett has delivered a series of seminars at the Business Show in London advising companies on how to prevent their acquisitions falling apart.

Corporate partner Maung Aye delivered his seminars, entitled Business Buying Nightmares to a packed audience at the show, which was filled with business leaders from across the UK and overseas who wanted to learn more about potential pitfalls when buying or selling a company or business.

The talk included a focus on due diligence and the essential steps that business owners needed to take to make their company more valuable to potential buyers which was warmly welcomed by the receptive crowd.

Maung said: “When entering these types of negotiations most businesses go in with the best intentions, but deals can fall apart over the smallest things, so it is integral that businesses are prepared for the potential pitfalls.
