Alison Green a partner at leading London law firm Mackrell Turner Garrett has represented the practice at this year’s Four Jurisdictions family law conference in Liverpool.
The conference is one of the most eagerly-anticipated events in the legal calendar and sees solicitors and judges from across the UK meet up to discuss the important issues affecting family law.
The three day event, held between Friday, 5 February to Sunday, 7 February 2016, included a number of talks from a wide variety of speakers including President of the Family Division of England and Wales, Sir James Munby and Sir Nicholas Mostyn, High Court of England and Wales, who chaired a session on money law.
The event also provided members of the profession with a chance to meet up and discuss issues affecting the sector and invited delegates also got a chance to attend a Black Tie event at the Iconic Royal Liver Buildings.
Alison Green, who is Head of Mackrell Turner Garrett’s Family Law Team, attended a number of important talks during the event and shared her expertise with fellow solicitors.
She said: “The event was extremely enlightening and I managed to take away a lot of information that will prove useful in the year ahead, I hope that also managed to impart some of my knowledge at the conference to help others.
“Conferences such as this are extremely important in shaping the direction of the UK legal profession and I feel very honoured to be able to attend on Mackrell Turner Garrett’s behalf.”
