Joyce joined Mackrell Turner Garrett’s London office in June 2014 as a trainee and completed her qualification with the firm. She joined the practice from Mackrell International partner firm Weir and Associates in Hong Kong where she worked for two years as a paralegal. Joyce is fluent in Chinese.
Joyce specialises in commercial and residential property matters and her role covers a wide range of real estate transactions, with cases including both residential and commercial property deals, lease renewals, enfranchisement, litigation and corporate support.
She acts for a broad range of clients including landlords, investors, lenders, occupational tenants, overseas nationals, corporations, developers and a number of high profile clients.
Joyce has a Graduate Diploma in Law, Legal Practice Course and a Masters in Advanced Legal Practice from Northumbria University.
She also has an undergraduate degree in Sociology and Law from Durham University and previously studied Hong Kong Commercial and Hong Kong Constitutional Law at The University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Criminal Law at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Joyce is also an active committee member of the prestigious Hong Kong Society, London and regularly participates in their events.
