Head of Crime and Regulatory Group, London
Robert is the Head of Mackrell Turner Garrett’s Crime and Regulatory Team in London.
He joined the firm in November 2016 as a solicitor, having already worked on a number of high profile criminal cases for other leading law firms. With more than eight years’ experience in the fields of complex crime, business crime, serious fraud and regulatory matters, Robert is able to assist a wide range of clients, whether individual or corporate.
Robert has represented clients subject to criminal investigations and prosecutions brought by the Serious Fraud Office (SFO), HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) and the National Crime Agency (NCA). He also has particular expertise in organised crime investigations, drug trafficking/importation, money laundering offences and complex POCA proceedings.
