Judges at this year’s Football Business Awards have praised the Sports and Entertainment Law Team at London and Birmingham law firm Mackrell.Solicitors for their work with players and clubs in the last year.
The firm was given a Bronze Award at the ceremony for the Best Professional Service Business Serving Football following the success of its Sports and Entertainment Law services in the last 12 months.
The judges were particularly impressed by Mackrell.Solicitors’ “diverse team of employees” and its focus on a “tailored service and lasting relationships”.
The awards also recognised the firm’s access to the much wider Mackrell International network as a founding member of this prestigious global legal network, which has more than 4,500 lawyers worldwide across more than 60 countries.
Speaking about the team’s success at the awards, Mohit Pasricha said: “It’s so great to hear from the judges at the awards about the reasons that we were shortlisted and selected for the bronze prize.
“Being recognised at such a prestigious national award ceremony is a real honour and would not be possible without the collective efforts of everyone in our team and the many partners that we work with around the world, who ensure that our clients get an outstanding service and effective advice.”
While the firm didn’t take home the top award on the night, it is focused on expanding its services in this area further by continuing to offer unique and unparalleled services to its small, active client base.
Mackrell.Solicitors’ Managing Partner, Nigel Rowley added: “Mohit and the rest of the team have done incredible work developing and improving our connections with the world of football – engaging with clubs and players at all levels, while also supporting businesses and other organisations connected to the sport.
“The comments of the judges speak volumes of the work that they do and I would like to congratulate them on their success.”
