It’s ready, steady, go for SW Engineering’s all-female Porsche Club Boxster Cup Championship Series race team thanks to the support of award-winning international law firm, Mackrell.Solicitors.

The firm’s logo will be proudly emblazoned across the side of SW Engineering’s car and on the driver’s overalls as the team take on this exciting championship at some of the UK’s most famous tracks – kicking off with Donnington Park on 1 April 2023.

This is the first team of its kind to take on the series and it is packed with talented drivers including Jess Wilkinson, Zoe Kyle-Henney and Sarah Wood.

Sarah is a Barrister by day at 5sah Barristers Chambers, which has a close working relationship with Mackrell.Solicitors.

As sponsors of SW Engineering, Mackrell.Solicitors is fulfilling its plan of supporting female leaders in many fields, which has been the long-term goal of Partner and head of the Family & Relationship team, Alison Green.

Speaking about the team’s sponsorship, Alison said: “We are excited to see what SW Engineering can achieve in the upcoming season.

“We have a great existing relationship with Sarah and 5sah Chambers, who are another sponsor of the team.

“It is really important for us to show our support of such a ground-breaking team of women and others involved in motorsport, in an industry which remains very male-dominated.”

This isn’t Mackrell.Solicitors’ first foray into motorsport though, as the practice’s Sports and Entertainment Law Team act for a number of elite drivers.
