Mackrell.Solicitors, a leading international law firm, is delighted to announce the addition of Mark Ovenell to the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department.
Mark qualified in 2002 and has over 20 years’ experience in pursuing and defending commercial litigation matters, in which he has covered a wide area of claims in the High Court and Appellate courts.
He has extensive experience in professional negligence claims, often acting for claimants in claims against solicitors, barristers, accountants, surveyors and other professionals.
Mark is an advocate of mediation and other forms of ADR and has acted for clients in many successful mediations without the need for a full-blown trial of the claim.
Mark has also acted for a number of financial institutions in relation to disputes involving loans and personal guarantees.
Mark also has significant insolvency practice, including issuing and defending statutory demands, bankruptcy petitions and winding up petitions, including public interest winding up petitions. Mark has also represented clients facing director disqualification claims.
Mark expressed his enthusiasm about continuing his commercial litigation work at Mackrell.Solicitors: “I enjoy commercial litigation because of the varied nature of the cases that I work on. No two cases are ever the same and it allows me to learn about a client’s business and their needs.”
