Judges at this year’s British Wills & Probate Awards have announced that London law-firm, Mackrell Turner Garrett, is a finalist.
The practice, which assists a wide range of clients around the world with its private client services, has been selected for the Solicitor Firm of the Year (National) category – placing it alongside some of the UK’s largest law firms.
The firm’s entry highlighted the exceptional work that it conducts for clients, including its estate and tax planning, trusts and contentious probate expertise.
With a growing base of international clients, the judges were also impressed by its global legal network, Mackrell International, which has more than 4,500 lawyers based in 60 countries.
Jeffrey Cohen, Head of Mackrell Turner Garrett’s Private Client department, said: “It is a real honour for our department to be shortlisted at The British Wills & Probate Awards 2019 and is a reflection of the hard work our team put in and the support that our clients give us.
The firm will find out if it has taken the top title at a gala ceremony due to be held at the world-famous Belfry Hotel and Golf Course near Birmingham on 17th October 2019.
Nigel Rowley, Managing Partner at Mackrell Turner Garrett, said: “Everyone at Mackrell Turner Garrett is immensely proud of what the Private Client department has achieved and it is nice to see they are getting the recognition they deserve.
“To be named as a national finalist alongside such prominent firms is indicative of the high level of expertise and service that we provide.”
This is the third time this year that the firm has been shortlisted for a major national award, having already been shortlisted for and won the Legal Week: Legal Innovation Awards and been shortlisted for a Law Society Excellence Award.
