About

Ben is a Paralegal in Mackrell’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team, providing legal research and practical support across a broad range of contentious matters. He works closely with solicitors to assist with case preparation, document review and the day-to-day progression of disputes, helping clients receive a responsive and effective service.

Ben joined the firm following a placement with Mackrell’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team, where he gained first-hand experience working on a significant commercial dispute, including proceedings at the Royal Courts of Justice. This has helped him to develop a strong understanding of litigation strategy and case management.

Prior to joining Mackrell, Ben completed solicitor shadowing at another leading law firm, where he gained exposure to wills and probate matters.

Ben is currently focused on building a strong foundation for a long-term career in law.

Professional Qualifications and Education

  • LLB (Hons) Law with Business, University of Essex, 2026 (Upper Second-Class Honours, 2:1)

Outside the Office

Outside of work, Ben is a keen football fan and Arsenal supporter. He previously played competitive futsal at university and continues to keep active through regular gym training. He also enjoys travelling, listening to music and spending time with friends and family.
