Harriet is a Partner in Mackrell LLP’s Corporate and Commercial team, advising founders, owner-managed businesses and growth companies at every stage of their journey- from early structuring and investment through to successful exits.
With more than a decade in the legal sector and qualifying as a solicitor in 2016, Harriet has substantial experience leading founder exits and venture capital fundraisings, as well as lower mid-market corporate transactions including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and group reorganisations. She regularly acts on transactions with values of up to £30 million and frequently advises on cross-border matters involving international stakeholders.
Harriet is known for her calm, positive approach and her ability to explain complex legal and commercial issues in clear, straightforward language. Clients value her as a trusted adviser who stays close throughout the process, providing practical guidance and supporting founders and owners through what are often high-pressure, life-changing transactions.
Her practice also includes advising on shareholder and partnership arrangements, share incentive schemes and governance structures designed to support long-term growth, investment readiness and exit planning. While she works across a wide range of sectors, Harriet is frequently instructed by founder-led and entrepreneurial businesses, as well as multinational companies with UK operations.
