Mark qualified as a solicitor 2002 and has worked at various firms across London and the South-East throughout his legal career. He joined Mackrell in 2025.

Over the past 20 years, Mark’s practice has been made up of mostly general commercial litigation and professional negligence matters. He has also been instructed on some residential property litigation, including mortgage repossession work for lender clients.

His professional negligence work has generally been acting for claimants against solicitors, barristers, architects, accountants, and surveyors.

Mark’s commercial litigation work has covered a wide area of claims, including general contract and tortious claims in both the county court and High Court. He has also been involved in and conducted many mediations.

Mark has also been instructed in many debt recovery matters, including issuing and defending statutory demands, bankruptcy petitions and winding up petitions, including public interest winding up petitions. He also brings experience in pursuing claims under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 as well as advising clients in relation to various methods of enforcement.

Additionally, Mark has previously acted for a number of lender clients in relation to mortgage possession proceedings and in relation to the enforcement of corporate and personal guarantees, by using the methods set out above.

Outside of work, Mark likes to travel, spend time with his family, and taxi drive his children to various clubs at weekends. Very rarely, he gets some free time to play golf or watch football.
