Neil Pfister

Neil advises clients across the technology sector and beyond, drawing on his unique background as a former software developer and business owner.

Before entering the legal profession, Neil founded and ran his own software company, giving him first-hand insight into the challenges and opportunities faced by tech-driven businesses.

As a result, in 2024, he was recognised as UK Technology Lawyer of the Year.

Over the last decade, Neil has acted for a wide range of technology companies, from start-ups securing their first round of funding to SMEs and large-scale international operations, including several listed clients.

His experience extends globally, supporting clients with overseas operations in jurisdictions such as the USA, UAE and Singapore.

Neil’s expertise spans website terms, customer engagement, joint ventures, licensing and distribution agreements, as well as broader commercial law matters.

While technology is a key focus, many of his clients come from outside the sector, reflecting his pragmatic and versatile approach to commercial legal issues.

Neil takes a partner-led approach, making himself available to clients and ensuring they receive direct, clear and commercially sound advice.
