Guvvy, Robert, Joanna – We were in talks with a potential buyer for our business and Guvvy at Mackrell was one of the solicitors recommended by our agent to carry out the legal side of the sale process.  I chose Guvvy as he was responsive to my messages and friendly and helpful on the phone.  The process of selling a business is stressful but Guvvy and his team, particularly Rob, could not have been more helpful.  Rob walked me through the buyers legal due diligence questions with commendable patience and good humour.  It’s not an exaggeration to say I could not have answered most of the questions without his assistance and his translation from legal jargon to plain English!  Mackrell’s employment law specialist, Joanna, was incredibly helpful when it came to the process of negotiating our new employment contracts.  She was always on our side, pushing back when required and helping us understand all aspects of the documents before we agreed to the terms.  Whilst I never want to go through the process of selling a business again, if I had to, I would use Mackrell.  We agreed a fixed price for the deal and in my opinion, it was worth every penny!
