Chaired by Mackrell.Solicitors Head of Family and Relationships Team, Alison Green, Mackrell International Women’s Group will bring women from the network’s 90+ member firms face to face for an opportunity to connect and learn with its ‘Meeting in Americas’

The two-day event will be hosted by Central Florida member firm, ZKS Law, in Orlando, Florida, on 14 & 15 March.

Opening with a welcome dinner, the meeting will give all attendees the opportunity to grow their professional networks, meet like-minded people and identify opportunities for development across a range of interactive sessions.

Part of Mackrell International, the leading network of more than 4,500 legal professionals in 60 countries, the Women’s Group aims to “support and amplify” stand-out talent across the sector – a strategy which has given rise to these dedicated events.

As a founding member of Mackrell International, Mackrell.Solicitors hosted the very first Women’s Group meeting from its London offices in 2023 – achieving an “undisputed success” which brought together a diverse group of professionals sharing knowledge and best practice.

London and Birmingham-based Mackrell.Solicitors will be represented at the event by two highly accomplished members of its Family and Relationship Team, Partner and Head of Department, Alison Green, and Consultant Barrister Maria Scotland.

Alison said: “It’s fantastic to see these meetings returning for 2024. We’ve had great success with them in the past and we see the clear value that they bring to all women across our network.

“Providing these opportunities is a key strategy to making the legal sector more diverse and accessible.

“We’re all looking forward to some amazing conversations and sharing our collective knowledge to make all our practices better.

“It’s always great to see how other firms commit to furthering women in law. For us, events such as these ones are the best way to shape the future of the sector and prioritise recognising talent and enhancing accessibility.”
