We are currently looking for a Property Litigation Solicitor for expanding Central London practice in Covent Garden ideally at Senior Associate/Junior Partner level to join the existing department dealing with a wide variety of both residential and commercial matters.
Role will include a variety of different types of matters in the caseload including:
- Residential and Commercial Landlord and Tenant disputes including service charge and rent recovery, forfeiture and dilapidation cases.
- Possession of property claims for rent arrears and other grounds.
- Boundary, right of way, right to light and party wall cases.
- Easement and restrictive covenant matters.
- Nuisance and Trespass cases.
- Leasehold Extension and Collective Enfranchisement by Lessees.
- Claims to property ownership and beneficial interest claims.
- Claims by Party Wall Surveyors for recovery of their fees in the Magistrates’ Court.
The successful candidate will be working independently within a growing team. They will be provided with a high degree of autonomy and will be encouraged to proactively support the team’s business development activities. Candidates should be ambitious and keen to develop the department and will work with existing Property, Private Client and Corporate Teams. The department also tries to assist clients throughout their cases to include advocacy in certain matters.
